Missed a Webinar/Webcast
Here may be an idea to get into the missed session
Webinar / Webinar Webcast – Also known as web conferencing – A format that is used to conduct live meetings, training or presentations via the Internet. In a web conference, each participant sits at his or their own computer and is connected to other participants via the internet. This can be either a downloaded application on each of the attendees' computers or a web-based application where the attendees access the meeting by clicking on a link distributed by e-mail (meeting invitation) to enter the conference.
A webinar is a neologism describe to a specific type of web conference. It is typically one-way from the speaker to the audience with limited audience interaction. A webinar can include polling and question & answer sessions to allow full participation between the audience and the presenter. In some cases, the presenter may speak over a standard telephone line, while pointing out information being presented onscreen, and the audience can respond over their own telephones, speaker phones allowing the greatest comfort and convenience.
You must sign into a webinar to be able to view it at a later date (in most cases – I am not sure if that is the case with different companies but for the one’s that I know it is). For this example – I am going to use webinars that used the technologies of www.embroidery.com (which is the host site) and Go To Meeting Software – Used by this site.
I am going to walk you through this: Keep in mind these are basic instructions – they may vary a little depending on what site is hosting the webcast. Almost all I have been to are through Embroidery.com or a similar site and the directions have been the same.
